 Since it origin, the La. Fur & Wildlife Festival, has
communicated with its sister festival, the Outdoor Show, in Cambridge, Maryland.
For almost 50 years the two festivals have exchanged festival representatives
from one festival to the other. Both festivals feature outdoor events
and contests. The International Muskrat Skinning Contest is held each
year in Maryland.
For many years Cameron's skinning champions competed in this event.
