Louisiana Fur & Wildlife Festival
Schedule of Events
January, 2008

January 5, 2008
All pageants will be held in Lake Charles, La at the Lake Charles Civic Centers Rosa Hart theater.

10:00am- Little Mr. & Miss Cameron Parish. 

2:00pm-  Deb, Teen & Jr. Miss Cameron Parish.

7:00pm-  Miss Cameron Parish & Fur Queen Pageant.  King Fur will also be crowned at this pageant.

Price to enter the pageants will be $5.00 per pageant or $10.00 for all 3 events.
 

January 11, 2008
All events will take place on the fairgrounds located at the old Cameron Elementary School grounds.

12:00pm- Fairgrounds will open.

12:00pm- Trap Shooting will open located on the South end of the Cameron Elementary grounds

12:00pm- Carnival will open at the fairgrounds

3:00-7:00pm- Steel Shoot  

January 12, 2008

9:00am- Fairgrounds and Carnival will open.

               Trap Shooting.

11:00am- Muskrat, nutria skinning.

                 Trap Setting

                 Oyster Shucking

1:00pm- Parade (parade will start at Cameron Construction yard east of Cameron)

3:00pm-  Duck and Goose calling competition.
 

Music on the Fair Grounds – January 12th

3:30 – 6:30pm - Jamie Bergeron

6:00 to 9:00pm - Barry Badon

Souvenirs for sale on fairgrounds and on Main Street:
shirts, cookbooks, hats, koozies!

All Events on Fairgrounds unless otherwise stated.
